Description

IVT's Public Switch Telephony Network Voice Access Point (PSTN AP) can provide the cordless phone function. When a compatible device comes into the range of the AP, a 2.4GHz wireless link is established between the two devices. In the communication range of the AP, a mobile phone or smart phone with compatible wirelss technology can be used as a cordless PSTN phone. Users can also answer an incoming call with a compatible wireless headset.

The PSTN AP provides a backup voice channel in the case of an emergency in IVT mHealth system. This is quite important since mobile network signal is very weak in door sometimes. When connected with the AP, s120 will send out precise indoor location during emergency to save precious rescue time.
